Lineament – Meaning a linear feature on the earth’s surface, such as a fault.

The intent behind the design is to create a fluid and dynamic line that flows loosely down the length of the inner courtyard complementing the landscaping of the space. Lineament visually ebbs and flows through the space, generated by the angles and positioning of the leaf like blades, which both echoes the watery environment of the surrounding landscape and links to the visual language of Kindred – the artwork it was designed to co-exist with.
